A Warhammer: The Old World Novel

Grand Cathay is a nation of legend, prosperity, and power; this is the empire of the Celestial Dragon. An ancient civilisation, ruled by immortal beings and defended by valiant warriors, this is a land of peace – or so most think. Surely no one would plot to destroy the Great Bastion… would they?

READ IT BECAUSE

A search for the truth stands to cost veteran soldier Yao Kai everything, and entrap him in a conspiracy far beyond anything he could have imagined. If Kai is to save Grand Cathay, he must seek allies among old rivals and enlist the very family he thought he had left behind.

THE STORY

Yao Kai has finally achieved his life’s ambition – he has been named Master of the Snake Gate, protector of the empire from the Chaos Wastes beyond. His hopes of a fresh start are dashed, however, when he uncovers a Chaos plot to destroy the Great Bastion from within.
